This ED Community, involving actors from Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and Civil Society Organizations (CSO), will be strengthened through joint reflection, training and action aimed at creating the necessary conditions to deepen and reinforce the collaborative community between HEI and CSO within the scope of Development Education (DE), continuing and consolidating the two previous editions of the Sinergias ED.
The meeting was attended by 26 participants and the intervention of 2 invited members - Elizabeth Challinor (Center in Research Network in Anthropology - University of Minho) and Óscar Jara (president of the Executive Council of CEEAL - Popular Education Council of Latin America and El Caribe and director of the Center for Studies and Publications Alforja, Costa Rica) - which stimulated the debate and reflection on the importance and production of knowledge.
It was also an opportunity to strengthen the participants' inter-knowledge, share interests and motivations as well as to define the operational structure of the ED Community, which already has a new meeting scheduled for April 2019.
