Major investigation lines were defined for the delimitation of the Conference debates, covering relevant themes not only within the movements but also to analyze public policies oriented towards particular social groups and specific political and economic issues, many of which were implemented in response to demands of social movements. Thus, contributions are sought in the areas of:
1) Protest, mobilization and regime change movements
2) Human rights activism and transformation
3) Media, digital activism and transformation
4) Transnational networks and activism in the African diaspora
5) Land, environment and activism
6) Art, culture and transformation
7) Knowledge for transformation
Panel proposals must contain:
- Panel title
- An abstract up to 500 words.
- 3 to 5 keywords.
- If possible, the proposed panel should include a moderator and a discussant.
- Abstracts must be submitted using the form available by February 28, 2022.
The Scientific Committee will decide about the acceptance of proposed panels.
