For Paulo Freire, the school is a privileged instance of society. It is a space for teaching and learning but also a place where, through education, the capacity for reflection, liberation and a critical attitude are promoted.
The articles and other texts that can be found in this number will help us recognize the school as such a space and will inspire our reflection and commitment with Development Education, Global Citizenship Education and/or Education for Social Change.
